根据不同的生产工艺又可分为仿木纹平板瓦、仿石型平板瓦、金鹰平板瓦、双外型平板瓦和阴阳型平板瓦多种，从而构成了多姿多彩的平板瓦坡屋面系统。仿石型平板瓦表面平整，通体混合色彩有如石纹，与用“文化石”装饰的墙体相配合，古朴庄严。
